It’s kinda been a lovely time the last week or so, hasn’t it? I mean *relatively* 😶🌫️ It’s funny as you get used to being a little more present, learning to stay with yourself & the suffering a little bit longer, especially when times get tough, the days &/or weeks when things have the slightest undercurrent of sweetness to savor come as a bit of a surprise. I don’t want to be presumptuous because we are all STILL on a crash PhD level boot camp of global survival but the recent influx of Venus in Libra energy (just ending a series of transits this week) brought in the sugar pot for a bit.

Late summer is my favorite time of year & I think it is because it carries a bit of the dark in it, a bit of a bite, just enough to provoke (trigger?!?!) but not enough to tip the scales.

This week’s equinox is the entrance to the chalice of the Divine, the bowl of time from the Fall Equinox through the Winter Solstice to the Spring Equinox, when we learn the most about surrender, when we give up everything & get reborn, all lubed up by the staring into the abyss.

And tomorrow’s eclipse is the slightly tipsy cocktail party at the portal. Too watery to make any concrete plans, too shadowy to make a virtuous move, just the right amount of slinky dream vibes to marry you with the Mystery. Make room for it. Don’t fight it. Don’t analyze it. Don’t numb it (spirits are already inside you). Stay with it. Stay with it some more.
