Although this transmission is a bit longer than usual, I did not go through all the transits bit by bit. Much of this information is already out there & to be honest, this is not a good time to be in your head, to have a to-do list, to be in ANY kind of performative mode. That might seem weird because Leo is known as a performative sign but actually, now is the time to integrate a more highly evolved understanding of Leo. Yes, allow yourself to be seen but use that relationship with your audience nee community, as a grounding mechanism.

Whether you have a major planetary aspect (Sun, Moon, Ascendant) in Leo or are just in it this summer, experiencing the full magnitude of this time in history & its relationship with the Leo/Aquarius Eclipse cycle (continuing for the next 18 months or so), it is time to allow your modus operandi flagrante to be poked. A lot. And if it’s already working for you, let the third thing, the thing behind the thing, the thing behind the thing that you have a million stories about but can’t let out of the vault, show its face to the sun.

This is not in your head. This is not overly premeditated. This is in flow with surrender, a relationship with embodied physical pleasure (starting with the tiniest of things) & in forgiveness. NONE of this is performative. ALL of this is for you. For you.

We are getting our sea legs.

It’s getting easier to stand upright in the swells.

This is a fortunate prognosis of the current cluster fuck we find ourselves in. It has become fairly obvious that there is no turning back. Eclipses crack open belief systems. They are often overwhelming but this year, we received the miracle preparatory workout of “The Basket” to get us ready.

I prefer the term cradle to basket to describe the disruption experienced in July 2026. We are truly babies right now. In fact the only way through is beyond intellect, intuited by a resilience that is innate: something pure, something connected to an understanding of the order of things that we all carried in blood and bone when we were born. Far beyond what the seemingly civilized world can show us as truth.

This is always the question: do we chose our lives out in the cosmos, before we arrived here on earth? There is so much wrong with this theory in the face of the horrors of the current world and yet here we are, moved in these undeniable ways, whether we desire to work directly with unseen energies or believe in them at all.

In my last Lunar Transmission I mentioned to all of you that the Aquarius Full Moon fell on the Sabian Symbol Aquarius 7: A Child Born of Eggshell.

FREEDOM FROM OLD WAYS AND STANDARDS ~ Dramatic changes occur when entirely new mutations occur that break the traditions of the past.

Mutation. The crux. The way forward seems almost abnormal. Not the way we have been taught to be. Not our expectations. Everything feels severe and sudden. An abrupt end to thing familiars, the need for new muscles of willingness to move into significant opportunities that are mysterious.

Again, we are babies. Remember there is nothing more formidable than the drive to be born. Pay attention to everything around you.

We are born of eggshell. We are born formed and free but still mutating and growing, in a transitional state. I don’t think we need to grow tougher skins. We do not need to inure ourselves to vulnerability. This is part of the lesson. To stay with ourselves. To not pass on the responsibilities of living to another. To make it even trickier, it’s ok to ask for help. Asking for help is actually intentional and progressive. It can be the next right step.

Don’t wait for a map to be drawn.

Remember there is a sweet spot between:

The pleasure of taking your time & actually getting something done.
Getting lost & possibly finishing.
Willingness & dogged persistence.
Leaning back & calling forth.

Show up for the muse/god/love on your knees.

Let the aliveness flow through you.

After years of meditation and other practices, I maintain that it is possible to bend time and space. It’s a matter of moving the molecules and also the perception of said molecules. The belief and the understanding that most of the world we see and understand is actually made up. We have more room than we think. To be ourselves. To initiate change. To help others. To believe in ourselves even more powerfully.

Take a moment to remember times in your life when you may have felt yourself shapeshifting. Times when you feel you may have become liquid, slid between cracks. Not lost, or actually yes, perhaps lost in a new, more glorious way. Like the fool card, like the baby, like the mutability of any assumption. This is what the turn of the cradle is, the hand that rocks the cradle, this eclipse season.

We have been lied to about how to be, about how to be in a way that receives love. We have been lied to over and over and over again. These moments where you may feel the floor slipping out from beneath you may be the key in the door.

I find myself letting go suddenly, without even trying. Perhaps you do too. For years we have had so many strategies on how to surrender. What is the key that turns you? What is the one thing, the one purpose, the one person, that actually isn’t yours at all. Your life will not fall apart if you meet this test, I guarantee.

Perhaps there is already someone, something, in your field right now, making an offer, rewarding your own ambitious presence exactly as it is. In fact, I am fairly certain this is true.

I have had a cranky week. I am tired of being patient. Or polite. Or both. I know we are all in the weeds but come on, let it go. Let it go, all of the excuses, let go of all of the projections, the blame, let go of what you think other people are thinking, just do the damn thing (not me quoting the bachelor).

I am talking to myself too. Of course. Just do it Kathe, write the fucking book already.

It’s not about productivity, please. It’s not about the to do list. It’s actually not even about you. Or me. It is about the death of so much of what we know. It is also about what is new. It is also about thinking it is up to someone else.

It is about walking your talk. It is about following through. It is about keeping your word.

The Sabian Symbol for this Full Moon (conjunct Pluto & Juno in Aquarius) is Child Born of Eggshell.

This is not a child born of the womb. It is a child already separate from the mother. Humans are not meant to arrive this way. Forget the soft lighting, the music, a reassuring midwife. Forget skin to skin. One minute, there’s a sealed world, where one’s needs are met. The next minute, there’s a vulnerable being standing in the open air with absolutely no idea how they got there. Nobody politely opens the door for this being. The pressure builds internally until the container can’t hold it.

It is awkward. It is uncomfortable. It is now. You are already free.

The people I love the best 
jump into work head first 
without dallying in the shallows 
and swim off with sure strokes almost out of sight.

bouncing like half-submerged balls.

I love people who harness themselves, an ox to a heavy cart, 
who pull like water buffalo, with massive patience, 
who strain in the mud and the muck to move things forward, 
who do what has to be done, again and again.

I want to be with people who submerge 
in the task, who go into the fields to harvest 
and work in a row and pass the bags along, 
who are not parlor generals and field deserters 
but move in a common rhythm 
when the food must come in or the fire be put out.

The work of the world is common as mud. 
Botched, it smears the hands, crumbles to dust. 
But the thing worth doing well done 
has a shape that satisfies, clean and evident. 
Greek amphoras for wine or oil, 
Hopi vases that held corn, are put in museums 
but you know they were made to be used. 
The pitcher cries for water to carry 
and a person for work that is real.

My beautiful friends, please read this poem above & then read it again. This is a time to simplify your heart, to know how you truly feel, to do good work, to say what you mean & do as you say. Walk as you talk.

If you are white & have privilege use it. Do not be afraid. Reach out to friends for support if you don’t know what to do, but I bet you do. The world is real and there are many individuals within reach that could use your help. Stand up for what you believe in. Do not think someone else is doing this.

1. I am not afraid of dying. I have imagined dying so often in the last 6 months. I have imagined that this may be the end of the world, it could very well possibly be. After consuming way too many sci-fi dystopian narratives, I decided I was ready to die, that I would not resist. That I would let God in more and that there is an alchemy happening now that is releasing so much love.

2. After deciding that I was ok with dying, I was able to recommit to being alive in an almost ruthless way, like Marie Kondo-ing my life with no hesitation. “To truly cherish the things that are important to you, you must first discard those that have outlived their purpose. (MK).”

3. I realized a deep codependency with many situations and many people. I may have loved them once and I may love them still, but I am not responsible for their choices and especially not responsible for how those choices affect me. I am, however, responsible for how those choices make me feel. I can decide whether or not people, places, things, organizations, structures are relevant to my joy and I can choose who I will share that joy with.

4. In case it is not easily understood, in this conversation, I am equating joy with love and I am equating love with what makes things that bring life grow and flourish.

5. I learned the term Global South and still can’t tell if it’s really appropriate to say as an American even though everyone seems to be using it. I reviewed the term “everything went south” realizing how many ways south meant below or underneath, in the dark.

6. Unfortunately I learned that people still, even after 30,000, almost 40,000, men, women and children that have been killed in Gaza, that many people still see these lives as primitive, unworthy, collateral damage, numbers only, NRPI (no real person involved, a term learned from the TV show Succession). That people believe that Palestinians have always lived in tents and were uneducated, that they were manipulated agents of destruction, bugs, weeds, something to be eliminated in order to let more valuable forms of life grow.

7. The veil lifted and lifted again and lifted again and I saw the layers of NRPI that have formed my life, formed my understanding of safety & protection as an American.

8. The veil lifted again and I understood the haunting feeling of never feeling safe that loomed around me my whole life, way beyond my early childhood. I remembered this recurring dream in my childhood (the 60s) where I would be looking for a place to hide from evil and I would find a good spot and would realize, oh they are giants and they can look down on me from the sky.

9. I learned (for the millionth time) that it is hard NOT to blame men. I hesitate to make sweeping statements but I am wary, have continuous knee jerk reactions, learned experientially over a lifetime. When I was a kid I read LORD OF THE FLIES and THE BUTTERFLY REVOLUTION, both novels of corruption and lawlessness among teenage boys, a lust for power that goes violent all too easily, a preying on the weak. As a queer person I am hesitant to get into gender essentialism here but yes, both books are about boys. And yet one thing I have learned since October 7 (or what was truly illluminated) is that this kind of rage and lust for power (& or protections) is not conditional to men alone. Although most of the current players on the world stage are indeed men, the hatred and cruelty towards those without power is not exclusive to those with a more masculine orientation. There is a compartmentalism that is being revealed in some of women close to me that is horrifying. Cruel things said repeatedly, without hesitancy.

10. Equality is only scary if you have to give up something to attain it.

11. That, at this moment, it is all Palestine.

12. Faith is not Religion. I know, I know, we already knew that. But the faith I continue to see in the Palestinians make me cry almost as much as the babies dead in their mothers arms. Well perhaps precisely because of the babies in their mothers’ arms, that, despite this intense grief, women, men, children are still praying to ALLAH, asking for guidance and believing that they are seen/heard. That kind of faith may seem primitive to the larger powers that be, however it is indeed threatening.

13. My own addiction to Empire. How can there be more layers of my privilege? Beyond my comprehension. I patiently peel back the layers, thinking it will take my entire life.

14. That neutrality is also addiction to Empire. Some may think neutrality means peace, which if you are an American means you believe that the current system is set up with the best of intentions, which means you are probably waiting for the reward they promised you.

15. The reward is not coming.

16. How much I have waited for this moment. That since a child I have been particularly allergic to Empire, to structures that were meant to limit joy, that joy was somehow troublesome to the authorities around me. And as much as I felt stifled & afraid of punishment and retribution, I also held a private world inside me that knew this kind of wonder banishing was both wrong and also somehow futile, that the joy and love were ungovernable and to never forget that, to never forget this feeling and to nurture it and hold it as a secret. There were many times I felt shame for being ungovernable, for resisting being called into numbed out service by working in objectionable settings or for being too neurodivergent to handle fluorescent lighting, for giving up on paying bills & for the desire for more stuff, but now I can be grateful that impulse for freedom stayed alive inside, never died.

17. Power trips are toxic on every level. Feeling sorry/bad for yourself is a power trip too. Noticing the moments in the day where you feel you must control or dominate a situation because you don’t have enough faith in your connection to god or the humanity in others.

18. I never really learned what that word meant, Humanity, & that I had to be almost pushed to the bottom of that ocean to see it.

19. How good it feels to be separating myself from even just a few conveniences: changing my bank to a small local one, doing what I can to not use amazon, doing my best to go to a physical place to purchase a physical thing, to at least take a moment before I lay a card down for anything & when I can’t separate from Empire, laying down a prayer for the next time before it even occurs. It’s small but it takes so much focus it is becoming a meditation.

20. The world isn’t only more painful than ever but also more beautiful.

Hey my loves, thank you for waiting a minute for my broadcast on the Cap Full Moon. As I say in the video above, Earth Full Moons, particularly Taurus and Capricorn, take their time in their implementation, so you are probably already organically in your process, of slowing down (the tiniest bit because Mars in Gemini & Jupiter in Leo are A LOT of momentum) to feel in your body where you have come in the first half of this elemental cycle.

Whether we realize it or not, we (in collaboration with the understanding of the divine of your choosing) are in a natural state of evolving & growing, integrating & disassembling continually. This time of year for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere have been answering the year’s assignment that was planted within since the Winter Solstice (Dec 21) & the Capricorn New Moon (January 17). At this time we are full of info, subliminal energies, natural & (sometimes) supernatural support.

Many chapters are nearing completions, identities are being retired, dreams/goals being streamlined & updated. The quote I was trying to remember towards the end of the video above was “Remember that building something real is allowed to feel good while you’re doing it. Discipline without any joy in it is just endurance, and it doesn’t have to be that way” ~ Amy Lea

Vanity – Discrimination – Purity

There are many synchronicities to this New Moon. It sits directly on Gate 12 in Human Design (described above) which indicates a moment of Sacred Pause: "Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom” Victor Frankl.

The key element of the Sacred Pause is the word freedom. For the only freedom we have is how we respond, the space we give ourself to feel what feels true, a belief in the feeling of choice and openness, no matter what the world is telling us.

That it sits in the sign of Gemini, the sign that in itself holds the idea of a horizon of possibility, a fluid horizon, one of flexible thinking, is auspicious. It is not a field of certainty but rather a field of mutation and evolution, adapting to what is needed at any particular moment, at this particular moment.

Three years ago, the Gemini New Moon on June 17 also sat on Gate 12. I found it extremely helpful to look at everything that came into place that week. Several significant things happened randomly and synchronously: deciding to miss a big family event at the last minute, looking at a new cottage to possibly move into, and the beginning of my current online devotional sadhana offering. Taking a moment to soak all this in gets me excited about the things currently at play in my life, all of which feel obstreperous & annoying at the moment, to be honest. But ok, I can get excited. I can receive. I can move a tiny bit forward.

Look back on that week for yourself to see a glimpse of what might be possible in the next level, right now.

Discretion in the face of choice is optimal. Humor is good if you can find it. Movement is non-negotiable.

I was unable to sleep last night due to the kind of panic I would prefer to avoid. I mean who wants to panic? But this panic creeps up on you. The kind of panic that only arises in the middle of the night, right out of a dream, when I am raw and bare to the universe, naked to god. The thing is that it doesn’t feel like my own dream, it feels like layers and layers of someone else’s dreams, or many people’s dreams, the kind of panic that insinuates the possibility that god is not present after all. That I (we) are actually alone and where there may have once been the possibility that we could provide for ourselves, we never quite got there, We never quite got THERE. To that place where we were meant to be protected. To that place that was promised us.

And, as I reminded myself in that panic last night, this is real. We are actually feeling these things. Convincing ourselves that this is not true, beating ourselves up for being weak does not help. WE ARE ACTUALLY FEELING THAT FEELING.

I am not making it up, the rawness, the lack of protection, the endless swimming, the treading water. This is what it feels like to live in the dissolve of capitalism. I am actually feeling it and I bet you are feeling it too. We are feeling each other. We don’t need to ‘correct’ this feeling, we don’t need to overcome it, we need to be there together. Wouldn’t it be wild if this is where we are meant to be. That this is THERE, the place we were going all this time.

This holy moment of experiencing the void is an opportunity to learn to accept this moment of revelation, to not wish that it was other. To find a generosity in what is happening. This is not spiritual bypassing.

There are many of you that have heard me tell the story of my medicine experience of the bottom of the ocean, of my intentional journey into the depths everything that I was attempting to protect myself from. It was in the beginning of my plant spirit journey many years ago, a time where no matter how much I tried to control dosage or environment to avoid the freefall of my psyche, the shattering of my perceptions, I kept getting drawn into an unbearably painful, violent vortex. One of my daughters mentioned simply one morning that perhaps the medicine was trying to show me something. Ummmmm, wow. The generosity of the darkness. Not a punishment. Not a death, necessarily. But an invitation.

Like any journey story of walking or swimming blindly to the dark, it took a lot of courage to hold myself tenderly and remain focused as I committed to following the pain the deeper I went. I felt the urge to escalate at every moment, to get hysterical and cry for help, but it was just that, an urge, an urgency, the desire to run away. I knew I was so close to epiphany. I did my best to hold myself. I could feel it within the compression, the loss of oxygen and self, and then I arrived. Just like that. Through my imagined miasma of fear, I reached the darkest place possible and it was surprisingly still and welcoming. Although I couldn’t see anything there, it felt like home. I could relax.

The current epoch of astrological evolution that we have been laboring through since 2020 has had more than its share of once-in-many-lifetimes prophecy and proclamation. The one we are sitting in now is an extra extreme version of this because it involves Sedna, a lesser known dwarf planet that takes 12,000 years to move through the zodiac (approximately 1000 years per sign). Sedna is currently conjunct Uranus in the first degrees of Gemini. It is also conjunct the Pleiades Star Cluster that is part of the Taurus constellation but lays very close to the cusp to Taurus/Gemini cusp.

No surprise that, just like all the memes and podcasts you have been seeing everywhere, Sedna symbolizes a primordial, compelling feminine energy that thrives on the dark. And just like all the other planetary, cosmic energy, she mirrors what we already hold inside us.

Sedna is named after an Inuit goddess with a brutal story of betrayal, deceit and abandonment. She was tricked into an unfortunate marriage that landed her on a barren piece of land in the Arctic and when her father came to rescue her, she was cursed by her husband with an extreme storm in which her father threw her overboard and cut her fingers off as she attempted to cling to the side of his kayak. She landed at the bottom of the darkest, coldest hollow of the sea and from the bloody stumps of her fingers birthed the ocean animals of the future, the dolphins and the whales and many others, all with capabilities we have still yet to fully understand.

Talk about the generosity of the dark. Talk about the legacy of the unknown.

The Pleiades, which again are a star cluster that permanently reside at the very end of Taurus, are known as The Seven Sisters or also Humanity’s Godmothers, the power found in close relationships and community, in collective resilience.

And Uranus, of course: Change, Disruption, Revelation, Truth.

You can make your own conclusions about this historic moment, lasting through the end of this year and then some.

So here we are. Despite dwelling in the auspicious first degrees of Gemini, this cluster of portent is actually not moving very quickly, no matter how much of a ride we may all be feeling. Yes, the mind is quickening but the alchemical process we are in is deep and takes time. The Sabian Symbol for the first degree of Gemini is “a glass bottomed boat in still water” also understood as “uncovering a new dimension of life.” It might remind you of my favorite saying “The Divine has many more ideas for you than you have for yourself.” This is a time of faith in the unknown and I know you can do this.

Perhaps you can feel your heart opening. There is an opportunity here for you, for us. It is not what you were expecting. It may not be comfortable. It may not feel particularly inviting. It is not what you thought the next step would look like. But it comes for you. It is there for you. It extends a hand. You are so much more than you ever thought of yourself. The possibility. You are able to think freely for perhaps the first time in your life.

This is the promise of Sagittarius & also Jupiter, who configures so significantly in this Full Moon. There is a level of emotional & social discernment here that enables you to look past societal approval, past the need for validation. What may have felt like a freefall is an invitation to imagine new futures. And to realize that there are many other people who are thinking freely now, who are imagining & dreaming in synchronicity with you. Do not continue to gaze into the illusions of despair. You can see. Find another pair of eyes to catch love through.

Again, this is not what you were expecting. You do not have to ignore grief. You don’t need to stop crying to move forward. Stability looks different now.

I am in draft mode. Pages surround me. I am circling my angel horses around a voice that rings true. I am practicing not being OK & holding that space for all of you with dignity & beauty. I am remembering what it means to stand by myself. I am seeing you. I am seeing all the people. I am recalling the reason why I am here. I am decorating THE LOVE FIELD & soon it will be open.

This morning I held a spontaneous class on Instagram Live in a similar format to the 40 Day Sadhana Practices I have been holding off & on for the last 3 years. Those of you who attend regularly know that something extraordinary happened in those last 7 weeks. We are all still feeling those revelations. Please enjoy this tiny gift from me & know that after 20 minutes or so, you will feel completely different that you did before. Pray into it. You deserve respite & love.

I have been sitting with what is needed at this time. What feels good to me & what I hear many of you reporting back. The two things I hear most often (& resonate with myself) is the call for a regular devotional practice & the need for an interactive community, one with real connection even if it is primarily based in a virtual space. I am working on this, visualizing & trying out ways to open this LOVE FIELD without resorting to (too much) technology, the least amount of bells & whistles, figuring out ways to leave more space for more voices, ways to make interacting more real, more palpable.

You will have to wait a few more days to get the full invitation but in the meantime I would love to invite you to a class via Zoom next Sunday, The Full Moon in Sagittarius, May 31 at 11 am EST. Class is open to all & will be an hour long with time afterwards for conversation & questions. No need to be a paid subscriber. It will be sexy, do with that what you will. Bring a date. I have to stop myself daily from saying two obvious things: “I am so tired” & “There is so much happening.” It’s the truth. I know you all feel it too. Thank all the energies of transformation that we are in this together. I get so much solace from being in community with you.

We are in the time of the slow reveal of truth. TRUTH is more like it. Secrets upon secrets being revealed. I am sure I don’t need to remind you that you can have secrets from yourself. In these last days of Taurus, this is the zone we are in.

Stop lying to yourself.

To be clear you may not realize it. There is no shame here. I am just inviting you to take these last few days of Taurean energy so slow down, take a sacred pause, see where you are forcing things. We are nearing the end of a Sacred Gestation, a collective unconscious development, that is about to set itself on fire. Best to eliminate as many catastrophes of deception/hiding out as you can NOW.

I believe in you.

Know what you want. Feng shui your values. Spring cleaning of what you are attached to tending. Build for the long season.
